Making the change from stand-alone learning to learning journeys

Design principles in the world of learning and performance are changing at a rapid pace. This is mainly due to the changing requirements of the businesses we work with and the learners we support.

One of the main challenges during this change is to convert learning events to learning journeys. What a learning journey constitutes is still somewhat contentious. What we’ve tried to do with our latest article is to explain how we view a learning journey and to explain how we redesigned a popular training event to make it more impactful for the clients and the learners.

What isn’t in contention we feel is how to define impact for the client and learner – simply it means getting more of what people learn used in the workplace at the level expected by the business.

We’ve published an article here about how we converted a stand alone training event into a learning journey.

Enjoy, and of course feel free to share and like the post, below.
