A big challenge for learning designers when trying to transition from a traditional classroom environment to a virtual environment is how to recreate activities and exercises in a digital format. Most people think that it’s time-consuming, labour-intensive and costly. However, it is possible to create effective digital assets on a small budget and in a timely way. You’ll probably be looking at making videos, digital documents, podcasts, interactive exercises and many other things – some of which might be new to you. So, before you get started have a look at this short interview about how to do that.
In the last of three interviews looking at how to move your classroom training into the virtual space while maintaining value and effectiveness, Matt Stone – CEO of BehavioralOS, tells us why operating in the virtual space has become essential for his business and customers and how to create digital assets that are easy to make and don’t require a lot of production expertise, coding skills or a huge budget.
This video is for you if you want to quickly switch your classroom assets to digital assets that can be used for self-directed or virtual learning. It’s about 22 minutes long – perfect for a commute or lunch break.
Thanks Matt for that insightful advice. This was the last in our three part series about how to transfer classroom training into the digital and virtual space.
